Not much for today really - just a quick post about the Fake Sky Noise YouTube farts who really got caught up in the frenzy about the SNP (Sky Noise Phenomena) in January of this year. As Clockers know, the SNP was very hot and almost viral after the Costa Rica booms was covered by their local media as was the Alberta noises.
And, like flies attracted to dumps of brown release, I present how NUTS it got for a brief moment. First up, on a `UK' Disclosure Gathering YouTube channel comes this nearly STUPID attempt at who knows what - but IF a UFO was making this sound - for 10 minutes - why does it cut off at 40 seconds and why aren't people out in the streets (even if it is supposedly in the middle of the night, a convenient explanation IMO). And, why is it a UFO and NOT an air conditioner? Yeah, it's that dumb.
But, got nearly a quarter MILLION hits, - And about a 1-1 ratio of pos/neg votes by viewers ----- and here is Strange Sounds In Venice Floridathe first of THREE fake Sky Sound Phenomena the guy made in days, -- this one got him again nearly a quarter million views. As with most `peak' anomalous phenomena - of which it is at least possible that the Sky Noise Phenomena is one of - it becomes hard to tell the real from the sublime. Today's SNP video comes from KissFMAmarillo - the YouTube site for a Amarillo radio station. The video seems to be shot by a worker of the station who happens to hear one of the `chello' sounds coming from the sky (videocamera now running of course) - the script takes him inside where he pulls out the DJ who is on the air to hear the weird sky noises outside (where at least one spectator is also wondering what is that noise and how long it has been going on). Video simply ENDS. Video does not allow comments (other videos of KissFM allow comments). Over 100K views. About a 5-1 pos/neg ratio.

(young impressionable kids who worried the world might be ending) My kids were talking about the "strange sounds" videos and worrying we were on the brink of apocalypse or alien invasion or something. So I showed them how easy it was to make a fake video with weird noises coming from the skies above Amarillo, Texas. (His description at the YT video)Even going to the point of making a FAKE video about the supposedly RUSED video of the DJ's. And the stations video an obvious fake.
(Oh, let's not forget that - within 40 seconds of the HP video - the HP editor/contributor Jason Boyett - has his BOOKS on the screen that he has written.)
Now, Jason Boyett's video above with the HP only has garnered about a 1K views in a day, despite being on HP. After all, it was a WEEK later --- whereas this Amarillo video FAKE was done only ONE DAY after the Radio station, and has even worse acting then the HP contributor and his kids, (upload by another self proclaimed Amarillo'ian) - already has 4K views. And, a 1/6 pos/neg ratio.

Of course being a public site like this your gonna have hoaxers. Thats why im shying away from this war of the worlds type sound. Everyday there is new videos coming out relating to unexplained noises esp a grinding-typpe noise. Many Panhandle residents are reporting that they heard a loud “bang” followed by a “roaring noise” last night around 10. What may have sounded like something extremely strange was likely a meteor. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, a meteor may have been seen throughout parts of Oklahoma and Texas. The FAA received several reports from people who said they saw the bright, streaking light. And, I'm starting to feel that way as I continue to dip into this potentially nefarious and already dubious Sky Noise Phenomena. Nefarious in that IT IS MOST CERTAINLY REAL in some manner - and dubious in that many many folks are faking videos for the YT hits (I assume.) and to make `fools' of the `believers'.
Indeed, today on UDCC I think I have ferreted out a GOOD strange sky noise phenomena video for you from Pennsylvania. Multi minutes, very vocal about NOT being a hoax, and a profile that suggests this is NOT a BS'er. All that said, who knows as in the comments he does get a little 12-21-12'y for me. Says it went on for OVER THREE HOURS: @5k VIEWS. 32likes/0 dislikes. Uploaded and I believe taken on Feb. 1st.

I could clearly spot with my naked eye what appeared to be a star changing colors. I looked through a set of binoculars at these vibrantly changing colors, and noticed that no other star next to it or anywhere else in the clear night sky looked similar in anyway.
